Call for Submissions and Zine editors announced!

Cat and Sian!!!
We are now looking for creative works to publish. Here is the brief:
Creative? Photographer/artist/poet/writer? Want to be published?
The Unit’s first ever zine* will shortly be going to print. We want to show the world how creative young people in Salisbury are and print your stuff (could be anything – photography, doodles, paintings, articles, poems, stories, illustrations… we’ll consider anything!).
Each zine we print will have a theme chosen by the editors (this issue it’s Cat and Sian). Anything submitted must be connected to the theme ‘Dreams & Nightmares’ for this first issue. It doesn’t matter if the connection isn’t obvious to everyone, as long as it means something to you.
If you send pictures by email please try and send them as jpeg’s. The first issue will also be printed in black and white, so bare that in mind when creating stuff.
You can send things to info@unitspace.org.uk or bring it in to The Unit by 19th August 2011.
If we receive lots of work please don’t be upset if we don’t publish you this time – it just means that we ran out of space, but we may still put you in the next issue!
*WHAT IS A ZINE? A zine is a small magazine with a lot of art and pictures in it. Have a look at some of these websites for examples:
